Visiting Electricity Technicians.....

Whilst the Lekky Men are conspicuous in the Cruz at the moment, that has nothing to do with the rest of us, as it is a "private" urbanisation.
HOWEVER the reason they are showing themselves at the moment (as opposed to not bothering to read meters) is to check who has still got an external ICP unit with their meter, as opposed to one incorporated into the new style meter.
If you look on your bill and you are still being charged (approximately 20 euros a month) you can apply to have this changed to a new style meter with the ICP unit incorporated.
The application fee is only 10 euros and you will save double that every month.
You wont get anything back from previous bills but Hey Ho.

However, this only works if you have single phase.
You can still do it if you have 3 phase but again it depends on how much voltage your current supply is.
It's a bit complicated, but well worth the effort in doing it and making sure Endessa don't make money out of you.
They wont tell you, they just expect you to realise!
Please contact Colin Jeffrey on 666 707 297 or Nathalie Brooks 645 654 677 who will put it all into motion for you.

  1. Sorry, I don't understand this. I have a separate ICP and I'm not aware of being charged "approximately €20 a month" as a result. How is this supposed charge described on the electricity bill? Who are these people who will "put it all in motion"? And do they do this for nothing or is this a puff for a business?
