Satellite Frequencies

I recently wrote an article concerning the recent changes to BBC frequencies
on satellite.
I have had some e-mails from people who have lost all BBC radio stations.

This is because all BBC radio stations used to broadcast on 11954 H, which was available on a 'pan European' beam available throughout Europe.
All BBC radio stations are now split onto two new frequencies that are on a much harder to receive beam intended for the UK only, as it is illegal to receive BBC channels outside of the UK due to licence issues.
If you are one of the many people who have lost BBC radio you will probably need to upgrade to a bigger dish.

I, personally have a 1.3m dish and can receive all channels broadcast by Sky/Freesat including difficult to receive beams.
